Michal Erder
I have a Masters Degree in History that I’ve never applied in my professional career.

Q&A Time!

Q: What’s your hometown and current residence?

A: I moved around as a kid – born in Philadelphia (Go Eagles!), lived in Michigan and California, and then New Jersey to finish up high school. I moved to New Orleans, Louisiana for college, and that is where I’ve stayed since graduating.

Q: Family, pets or hermit?

A: I have a husband, our toddler, and a black cat. Our toddler loves to chase the cat but can’t quite seem to catch him (yet).

Q: What is your favorite word?

A: There is a street in Baton Rouge, LA called “Dalyrimple Street” and I giggle every time I see it. I believe it is a family last name, but it’s a great one.

Q: Guilty pleasure?

A: Reading historical fiction. And drinking wine. And preferably these two activities at the same time.

Q: What is the one achievement that makes you the most proud?

A: Attending night school for 3 years while working full time to get my MBA.

Q: Favorite karaoke song?

A: “I’ve Got Friends in Low Places” by Garth Brooks

Q: Share the knowledge – do you have a secret to your success?

A: One of my leaders once told me that your career is a rock wall, not a ladder, and I love that. Don’t be afraid to move around the wall to find the thing you love to do.
